Exploring the city anew each day through the eyes of my young family, seeing reflections on the water and changing colours of the seasons, as if for the first time. Sugarflowers and Delftware in my kitchen cabinet

My husband, Michaël and I live in the centre of Amsterdam with our two wonderful children, Jan (9) and Nora (7). We cross these canal bridges every day on the way to and from school, making regular stops at the playground or the bakery for warm croissants.

Cake decoration

Before creating cakes and sugarflowers I created wedding dresses for 20 years. I guess you could say I’ve gone from haute couture dress making, to haute couture cake baking.
